Moisture Meter
Delta T (TΔ) is the difference between the surface temperature (Ts) and the dew point temperature (Td). Painting should not be done when TΔ is below 3ºC (5ºF).
Relative Humidity (RH) is the ratio of the actual amount of water vapor held by the air to the maximum amount of water vapor that air can hold at a specific temperature. Typical maximum RH values specified by paint manufacturers range from 75% to 85%.
Key Features:
• Robust Design: Suitable for use in harsh environments, dustproof, and completely waterproof with enclosed sensors.
• High/Low Limits: Displayed graphically on the screen with flashing Red or Green LEDs (indicating success or failure).
• Delta T Temperature: TΔ is preset to the industry standard of > 3ºC (> 5ºF).
• Relative Humidity: User-defined upper limit can be set for RH.
• Measurement Hold/Release Function: With a single button press, measured values are ‘frozen’ on the display. These can then be recorded later; just press the button again to ‘freeze’ the display and take additional readings as needed.
• Backlight: Provides clearly illuminated information, ideal for dark or confined spaces.
