nstall safety cables for sandblasting hoses on all connected fittings. Before connecting the couplings, retract the spring ring and slide it over the sandblasting hoses (not remote control lines). Connect the hose fitting and slide the ends of the safety cable backward until the cable flattens and the hose bends slightly.

Whipcheck Safety Cables are strongly recommended for vertical applications where air and sandblasting hoses are suspended. Hose couplings are not designed to carry the weight of the hose, and additional support is necessary to reduce increased tension.
