Blue Aluminum Oxide
Blue aluminum oxide is produced by the regular calcination of brown fused alumina at high temperatures until a blue grain color is achieved. This process eliminates cracks on the surface and within the crystals, extending the lifespan of the grains. The characteristic of blue fused alumina enhances its self-sharpening ability. Blue aluminum oxide has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. It features strong durability, better adhesion capabilities, lower heat generation, a smooth surface, and a high-quality finish. Applications
Blue aluminum oxide is used in the production of precision abrasive tools for processing metals and heat-sensitive alloys, as well as on surfaces of bicycles, machinery, hard metal tools, medical devices, and glass products.
