Pink Aluminum Oxide
Pink aluminum oxide is produced by adding chromium oxide (Cr2O3) to aluminum to obtain chromic fused alumina. Chromium oxide (Cr2O3) increases the hardness and toughness compared to white fused alumina or brown fused alumina. It is ecologically clean and extremely hard, making it resistant to aggressive chemicals. Pink fused alumina does not contain respirable free silica (SiO2) and complies with occupational health and safety criteria. Pink aluminum oxide is a product used for high-tech applications.
